The Welland Valley Partnership is the steering group of organisations working collaboratively to improve the River Welland catchment for its people and wildlife. The Welland Rivers Trust chairs and coordinates this partnership, and a renewed sense of purpose and motivation has meant momentum in our work has been building over the past year.
To celebrate, we’ve put together a review of some of the activities the partnership undertook in 2019. From volunteer training and community engagement to physical habitat restoration projects, there really is a lot going on over our 610sq mile patch in the East Midlands.
Please give it a read and share the good news about the work being done to improve your river!
